JAL Virtual was founded in March 2007 by Touy Smith as a "Simulated airline experience for East Asia" we choose our base from Japan and Japan airlines was the best option as seeing they had a good grounding in east & south east asia and trans pacific both areas, away from where many Virtual Airlines are located in Americas and Europe.
We simulate the Japan Airlines Group in its current form and will have 96% of its routes in our database by years end, but there are some driffences from our real world counter part, for example our offical name is Japan Airlines Virtual with the acronym JAL-(V)irtual, and we do driffent things like our flight numbers are driffent and the aircraft fleet is of various types past and present.
